Customs Process | Prize Mania Japan
When you import merchandise, your country’s customs authority may charge taxes (VAT/GST) and/or import duties.
These fees are collected by your own government—not by Prize Mania Japan.
What Is Customs?
Customs is the government agency that inspects incoming parcels and assesses any applicable import charges.
The amount (or exemption) depends on your country’s regulations, the item category, the declared value, and local thresholds.

✈ Typical Import Flow
Shipment departs Japan → tracking begins.
Arrival in destination country → parcel handed to customs for screening.
Assessment
Customs verifies invoice value & item description.
If charges apply, carrier or customs will contact you for payment.
Clearance & delivery → once fees are paid (if any), parcel is released to the last-mile carrier.
